Experience Pilsner Urquell through all senses

THE MUST-DO ACTIVITY IN PRAGUE!

Discover the story of Pilsner Urquell, the world's first golden lager that revolutionized the beer industry 180 years ago! In The Original Tour, we will transport you back in time through immersive audioguide, video mapping, light shows and projection to explain how the first pilsner beer was created.

You will taste our golden beer while meeting our first brewmaster, and with your senses already stimulated, you will experience the brewing processes - our ingredients, the hot brewhouse, or chilly cellars! We will explain to you the importance of foam in each of the perfect Czech beer pours, and before leaving the storytelling floor, a lot of fun will be waiting for you in our 360° game hall!

The tour continues in our iconic Beer Hall upstairs, where you can taste two more beers served by our friendly tapsters or participate in one of our shows! And if you visit our brand shop, you can take home a personalized hand-engraved beer mug oror a bottled Pilsner Urquell with your name on it.

UNIQUE LOCATION

The Pilsner Urquell Experience is conveniently situated at the heart of Prague, right at the lower end of Wenceslas Square.

It spreads over three floors of a stunning heritage-protected art-nouveau building, originally constructed as a bank back in 1902. The combination of beautiful decorations, including ornate ceilings, and state-of-the-art technology offers visitors a unique and breathtaking view.

Meet the beer that changed the world

Deep inside the cellars of our brewery in Plzeň, Czech Republic, we make sure that every Pilsner Urquell drop tastes as unique as it did in 1842. We proudly continue the heritage of Josef Groll, the original brewmaster who introduced the world to the first golden “Pilsner” lager and changed beer forever. Today, Pilsner beers account for 70% of the world's produce, but there is only one ORIGINAL, and that is Pilsner Urquell.
